NTARI.org Management Channel Objective Statement

Mission

The NTARI.org Management Channel exists to maintain and enhance the Institute's digital presence through collaborative volunteer efforts that embody network theory principles in practice. We ensure NTARI.org's content remains accurate, accessible, and aligned with the Institute's mission to develop systems and programs for online global cooperatives.

Objectives

  1. Maintain consistent website availability and technical integrity across all NTARI.org domains and subdomains

  2. Develop and update web content that accurately represents NTARI's programs, research, and service initiatives

  3. Implement transparent documentation systems for organizational knowledge management

  4. Provide accessible channels for member communication and public engagement

  5. Support the Network Society Program's three-tiered volunteer framework through appropriate access protocols

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor website performance metrics and respond promptly to technical issues

  • Update program information, event calendars, and research publications according to established protocols

  • Coordinate with Volunteer Information Managers (VIMs) to ensure proper documentation flow

  • Maintain member access to the Backend through secure and efficient onboarding processes

  • Create and distribute multimedia content explaining NTARI's mission and activities

  • Implement the MOKR (Mission-Objective-Key Results) framework for all management activities

  • Submit monthly records to the NTARI Secretary as required by the Bylaws

  • Support quarterly performance evaluations through transparent data collection

Governance

This channel operates under the oversight of designated Volunteer Information Managers who report to the Board of Directors at quarterly meetings. All management activities must align with NTARI's Bylaws and program charters, particularly regarding:

  • Member communication protocols (Article II, Section 2.6-2.9)

  • Documentation requirements (Article III, Section 3.3-3.4)

  • Quarterly mission standards (Article III)

  • Non-discrimination policy (Amendment 1)

Evaluation Metrics

Management Channel effectiveness will be evaluated through:

  1. Website uptime percentage and performance statistics

  2. Content freshness and accuracy measurements

  3. Member engagement and access statistics

  4. Documentation completeness and quality assessments

  5. Alignment with quarterly mission standards

This objective statement serves as the guiding framework for all volunteers participating in the NTARI.org Management Channel and may be amended through the process outlined in the Network Society Program Charter.
