NTARI.org Management

Mission

The NTARI.org Management Channel exists to maintain and enhance the Institute's digital presence through collaborative volunteer efforts that embody network theory principles in practice. We ensure NTARI.org's content remains accurate, accessible, and aligned with the Institute's mission to develop systems and programs for online global cooperatives.

Objectives

1. Maintain consistent website availability and technical integrity across all NTARI.org domains and subdomains

2. Develop and update web content that accurately represents NTARI's programs, research, and service initiatives

3. Implement transparent documentation systems for organizational knowledge management

NTARI's timekeeping module for volunteers has an issue. Volunteers forget to clock out leading to innacurate time statements. One volunteer clocked an astounding +159 hours this week!

I'm open to proposals to fix this. My idea is somehow tapping into the monitoring Wix feeds to our backend dashboard (not www.ntari.org/backend but the Wix dashboard for ntari.org).

This tracks what page a user is on, identifies the user if they are registered and most importantly the time spent on the page. The problem being if the user navigates away they may be researching or they may have forgoten they were using the clock. To get accurate measures this solution will also require a prompt after a specified time that can reach the user's screen (at least their browser screen) asking if they are still volunteering.

Today I will be installing the BooksRun API on a dedicated page. This will be in conjunction with Ad promotions to drive traffic to our new store.
