1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using www.ntari.org, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this site.

2. Nonprofit Status and Mission

The Network Theory Applied Research Institute (NTARI) is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Louisville, Kentucky. Our mission is to support independent SOHO (Small Office/Home Office) network development and research to improve the internet.

3. Donations and Financial Contributions

• Tax-Deductibility: All donations made to NTARI are tax-deductible for US taxpayers to the fullest extent permitted by law, in accordance with the IRS internal revenue code.

• No Refunds: Due to our status as a nonprofit and the immediate allocation of funds toward research and development, all donations are non-refundable.

• Recurring Donations: If you choose a recurring donation (monthly, weekly, etc.), you may log in to your account at any time to edit or cancel these payments.

4. Intellectual Property and Open Source

• Research Materials: Unless otherwise noted, all whitepapers, data, and research results provided in our Resources section are for informational purposes.

• Open-Source Software: Any software or code repositories linked (such as GitHub) are governed by their respective open-source licenses (e.g., MIT, GPL, AGPL-3 or Apache). Please refer to the specific license file within those repositories for usage rights.

5. User-Generated Content

If you provide comments or feedback during the donation process or via our contact forms, you grant NTARI a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual license to use that feedback to improve our services and research. We reserve the right to remove any content that is deemed offensive or unrelated to our mission.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The research and technical information provided on this site are for educational and development purposes only. All information and software are provided "as is" without any warranties, express or implied. NTARI does not guarantee that the technical implementations discussed will be suitable for your specific network environment.

7. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall NTARI or its contributors be liable for any damages (including, without limitation, damages for loss of data or profit, or due to business interruption) arising out of the use or inability to use the materials on www.ntari.org.

8. Governing Law

Any claim relating to NTARI’s website shall be governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Kentucky without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
