NODE.NEXUS TERMS OF SERVICE AGREEMENT

1. INTRODUCTION
Welcome to Node.Nexus, the official multimedia publication platform of the Network Theory Applied Research Institute, Inc. ("NTARI"). Node.Nexus serves as a central hub for collecting, organizing, and distributing research outputs generated through the Network Society Program's volunteer channels.
This Terms of Service Agreement ("Agreement") governs your use of Node.Nexus for publishing multimedia content, including but not limited to articles, research papers, audio recordings, videos, data visualizations, and other digital content formats.
By accessing or using Node.Nexus as a publisher, you agree to be bound by this Agreement. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the platform.
2. DEFINITIONS
"Node.Nexus" refers to NTARI's digital knowledge repository and publication platform.
"Publisher" or "User" refers to any individual or entity that submits content to Node.Nexus.
"Content" refers to any material submitted to Node.Nexus, including but not limited to text, images, audio, video, and data.
"NTARI" refers to the Network Theory Applied Research Institute, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
3. CONTENT OWNERSHIP AND RIGHTS
3.1 Ownership
Publishers retain full ownership of all content they submit to Node.Nexus. Nothing in this Agreement transfers ownership of your content to NTARI.
3.2 License to NTARI
By submitting content to Node.Nexus, you grant NTARI a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to:
Publish, display, distribute, and promote your content on Node.Nexus
Archive your content as part of the Node.Nexus repository
Format your content for optimal display across various devices and platforms
Use your content for promotional purposes related to Node.Nexus and NTARI
3.3 Duration of License
The license granted to NTARI remains in effect until you remove your content from Node.Nexus, except for:

NTARI will make reasonable efforts to ensure that all published content properly attributes the original creator(s).
4. CONTENT GUIDELINES
4.1 Acceptable Content
Node.Nexus welcomes content that:
Advances understanding of network theory and its applications
Contributes to the development of network society
Follows peer-to-peer academic standards
Demonstrates original research or thought
Aligns with NTARI's mission and values
4.2 Prohibited Content
The following types of content are prohibited:
Content that violates any applicable law or regulation
Content that infringes upon intellectual property rights of others
Content that contains hate speech, promotes discrimination, or incites violence
Content that contains false or misleading information
Content that promotes illegal activities
Content that is obscene, pornographic, or excessively violent
Content that violates privacy rights of individuals
Content that constitutes spam or unauthorized commercial solicitation
4.3 Peer Review Process
Node.Nexus may implement peer review processes for certain types of content. By submitting content, you agree to participate in these processes when applicable.
5. PUBLISHER RESPONSIBILITIES
5.1 Accuracy and Originality
Publishers are responsible for ensuring that:
All submitted content is their original work or they have permission to publish it
All facts, data, and claims are accurate to the best of their knowledge
All sources are properly cited according to applicable academic standards
All contributors are appropriately credited
5.2 Compliance with Guidelines
Publishers agree to comply with all content guidelines and other policies established by NTARI for Node.Nexus.
5.3 Responses to Concerns
Publishers agree to respond in a timely manner to concerns raised about their content by NTARI or other users.
6. NTARI RIGHTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
6.1 Content Review
NTARI reserves the right to:
Review all content before publication
Reject content that violates this Agreement
Remove content that is later found to violate this Agreement
Establish and modify content standards and review processes
6.2 Distribution
NTARI will:
Make reasonable efforts to distribute content through appropriate channels
Maintain the Node.Nexus platform for public access
Utilize the Google Ad Grant to promote Node.Nexus content where appropriate
6.3 Preservation
NTARI will:
Make reasonable efforts to preserve published content
Maintain backups of the Node.Nexus repository
Notify publishers of any significant changes that may affect content availability
7. ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT
7.1 Account Creation
To publish on Node.Nexus, you may need to create an account. You are responsible for:
Providing accurate account information
Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
All activities that occur under your account
7.2 Account Termination
NTARI reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that:

You may close your account at any time by contacting NTARI at info@ntari.org.
8. PRIVACY
8.1 Data Collection and Use
NTARI collects and uses information in accordance with its Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference into this Agreement.
8.2 Publisher Information
NTARI will only use publisher information for:
9. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
9.1 Third-Party Content
Publishers must obtain all necessary permissions for any third-party content included in their submissions.
9.2 NTARI Intellectual Property
The Node.Nexus platform, including its design, features, and branding, is owned by NTARI and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
10. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES
Node.Nexus is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied.
11. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the fullest extent permitted by law, NTARI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of Node.Nexus.
12. DISPUTE RESOLUTION
12.1 Notice of Dispute
Before initiating any formal dispute resolution process, users agree to notify NTARI of any concerns or disputes by emailing info@ntari.org and allowing NTARI 30 days to respond.
12.2 Governing Law
This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the state where NTARI is incorporated, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
13. MODIFICATIONS TO TERMS
NTARI reserves the right to modify this Agreement at any time. NTARI will notify users of significant changes through appropriate communication channels.
14. TERMINATION
14.1 By User
You may stop using Node.Nexus at any time.
14.2 By NTARI
NTARI may suspend or terminate your access to Node.Nexus for violations of this Agreement.
14.3 Effect of Termination
Upon termination:
Your license to use Node.Nexus will end
NTARI's license to your content will continue according to Section 3.3
You may request removal of your content by contacting NTARI at info@ntari.org

16. ENTIRE AGREEMENT
This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between you and NTARI regarding your use of Node.Nexus as a publisher.
17. SEVERABILITY
If any provision of this Agreement is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
By using Node.Nexus as a publisher, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this Agreement.
