Cancellation Policy
Terms & Conditions Volunteers agree to perform their duties to the best of their abilities and comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and Institute policies. The Institute will provide necessary training, resources, and support for volunteers to fulfill their roles effectively. Either party may terminate this volunteer relationship at any time with written notice. Volunteers are not employees of the Institute and are not entitled to monetary compensation or employment benefits. Intellectual property created during the volunteer relationship shall belong to the Institute unless otherwise agreed upon in writing. Volunteers agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Institute from any claims arising from their volunteer activities. NTARI Volunteer Rights The Right to Clear Expectations Volunteers have the right to a well-defined role, responsibilities, and expectations outlined by the Institute. The Right to Training and Support Volunteers will receive the necessary training and resources to effectively contribute to their assigned roles. The Right to a Safe and Professional Work Environment Volunteers should be treated with respect and work in a setting free from discrimination, harassment, or unsafe conditions. The Right to Open Communication Volunteers can ask questions, voice concerns, and provide feedback about their roles or project experiences. The Right to Intellectual Property Clarity Volunteers acknowledge that intellectual property created in their role belongs to the Institute unless agreed otherwise in writing. However, they have the right to transparency regarding how their contributions are used. The Right to Recognition Volunteers should be acknowledged for their work and contributions, whether formally or informally. The Right to Privacy Personal information collected in the volunteer form will be used only within the Institute and its nonprofit partners for project-related purposes. The Right to Flexibility and Workload Management Volunteers should not be overburdened and can discuss workload concerns with project coordinators. The Right to Discontinue Volunteering Either party may end the volunteer relationship with written notice, as per the Terms & Conditions. The Right to Ethical and Fair Treatment Volunteers should not be exploited, pressured into roles they did not agree to, or subjected to unfair expectations beyond their initial commitment.
