  • Grant Terms and Conditions for Developing a Node in the Agricultural Internet (AgriNet)

    1. Purpose The purpose of this grant is to support the development of a node within the Agricultural Internet (AgriNet), a decentralized network designed to enhance connectivity, data sharing, and technological adoption in agriculture.

    2. Eligibility Applicants must meet the following criteria:

    • Be a registered farmer, agricultural cooperative, research institution, or technology developer.

    • Demonstrate a clear plan for implementing and maintaining an AgriNet node.

    • Commit to knowledge-sharing and collaboration within the AgriNet ecosystem.

    3. Scope of Funding The grant may be used for:

    • Procurement of hardware and software for establishing the node.

    • Installation and configuration of networking equipment.

    • Security and maintenance costs for a period of one year.

    • Training and capacity-building initiatives related to AgriNet node operation.

    4. Grant Disbursement Funds will be disbursed in phases based on project milestones:

    • 30% upon approval and signing of the agreement.

    • 40% upon verified installation and operational status of the node.

    • 30% upon submission of a progress report after six months.

    5. Reporting and Monitoring Recipients must submit:

    • Quarterly progress reports detailing usage, impact, and challenges.

    • A final report outlining project achievements and sustainability plans.

    • Access to monitoring by AgriNet representatives for evaluation purposes.

    6. Data Sharing and Compliance

    • Data collected through the node must be anonymized and shared with the AgriNet database for research and development purposes.

    • Recipients must comply with data protection regulations and network security protocols.

    7. Sustainability and Maintenance

    • Recipients are responsible for the continued operation and maintenance of the node beyond the grant period.

    • Participation in AgriNet community initiatives and peer learning sessions is encouraged.

    8. Intellectual Property

    • Any technology or software developed using the grant must be open-source or made available to the AgriNet community.

    • Any proprietary developments must be disclosed and approved by AgriNet administration.

    9. Termination and Repayment

    • Failure to comply with these terms may result in grant termination and a requirement to repay disbursed funds.

    • Misuse of funds or fraudulent activity will lead to legal action and immediate termination of the grant.

    10. Agreement and Acceptance By accepting this grant, the recipient agrees to abide by the terms and conditions outlined above and to actively contribute to the growth and sustainability of the Agricultural Internet (AgriNet).
