I imagine I will write several of these over the years. In the first What is Network Theory post I shared a realization I had while chatting in r/networkstate and a subsequent turn toward focusing on how to get the NTARI vision to the Church. The answer is the same way as everyone else.
So, the NTARI of December 2024 is nothing like that of August 2024, the original publish date of the article on a previous version of NTARI.org. As such, I have a much more useful definition of Network Theory.
Network Theory Version 2
Network Theory is a collective intelligence community development (CICD) philosophy that focuses on using internet-based communications to orchestrate real world processes. That's the simple version, and unpacking it may take more time than I'm willing to spend at this particular moment, but here's a quick dive:
Every community member (user) is a node capable of input (demand)
Every node contributes to network output (supply) with instructive communication based on the types of possible demands the network is responsible for
Network Theory focuses on curating secure, pre-programmed, self-paced, instructive communication systems to enhance collaborative effort
Cultures reflected in the programming of CI networks are responses to real world stimuli and valuable to communities with similar stimuli. NTARI develops solutions open-source and not-for-profit avoiding franchising administration costs in its effort to connect the world.
