the Network Theory Applied Research Institute
The Network Theory Applied Research Institute is a nonprofit developing the web, but not in traditional terms. Traditional web development only configures the cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.). We are reconfiguring internet culture.
We're developing a system to encourage the adoption of distributed internet architecture (server equipment in homes and businesses) and open-source software, creating a computational commons for everyone. The foundation of this system is people like you, all over the world pursuing this objective asynchronously. NTARI supports this efforts with it's Slack workspace.

#resource-recruitment
The #resource-recruitment channel in our Slack workspace is reserved for volunteers who want to practice recruiting other volunteers. Their titles match their areas of effort:
-
Online Recruitment Manager
-
University Recruitment Manager
-
Business Recruitment Manager
We provide automated documentation of your contributions, including time, major accomplishments and personal commentary from the workspace administrator and president of the board.
Our Strategy
Our #resource-infrastructure channel provides #resource-recruitment with automated processes for volunteer management. With 40+ active volunteers, recruitment manager efforts only need to focus on finding the best candidates for the work.
-
Online recruiters will focus on platforms like Idealist.org, r/volunteer on Reddit.com and similar platforms
-
University recruiters focus on building strong relationships with universities, colleges and trade schools locally and abroad (volunteers may be anywhere in the world)
-
Business recruiters build relationships with organizations whose values align with NTARI and recruit them for concerted efforts across our workspace
