Weekly Review January 31, 2025

80% accuracy week. Major failure was applying for National Science Foundation. Deadline is Feb 3 but the application was very complex. Rather than attempting, I focused on Code:You coursework. I will continue to focus on Code:You in order to be equipped for our future work.

I filled out a survey for Jefferson County Public Schools that suggests using Consul Democracy, an app developed by the Madrid city counsel as a replacement for the role of superintendent. I will be publishing it in Node.Nexus next week.

Today, I'll be handling administrative work and catching up on Code:You courses. We made several contacts to funders and workshop hosts to advance our mission.

RESEARCH

On Wednesday, I'll begin our applicatio for a National Science Foundation Grant. I'll also work on next month's blog post and if I have time, I'll test some APIs that may let us build the Agrinet as a web app.

RELATIONSHIP DEVELOPMENT

Tuesday I completed all 5 scheduled tasks and updated most of our budgets and correlating budget pages. See the results at https://ntari.org/corebudget. I am still waiting on my fellow board members to approve the letter to Louisville Community Foundation. An email reminder has been sent with this update.

RESEARCH

Wednesday I canceled one action after Code:You instructors said it was not important. I also spent quite a lot of time doing Code:You coursework. I reviewed the language of MIT and GNU…
